Location, convenience to entrance.
Stuck in a smoking room, even the tissue stunk.
I'd feel better if I had a non-smoking room. Interesting that Priceline got me in at a low Name Your Own Rate because they were sold out. Every hotel in town was full, the desk had no idea why. They were referring people to other towns.

Close to the freeway, quiet, roomy.
There were small ants in the room, on the nightstand and they got into the bed.

Clean, friendly, really comfortable bed!
Woken up by leaf blower and housekeeping way too early! No conditioner in the bathroom and farther away from the downtown than expected.

Clean, nicely decorated, and a spacious room.
No continental breakfast offered with the stay.
This hotel has good proximity to the university of Virginia. We spent a very comfortable three nights here and would stay again. The staff was responsive and courteous. It would be a much better experience if they offered a continental breakfast as do most similarly priced hotels.

Very clean and comfortable.
Hotel did not offer queen-size beds, only double.
I would definitely stay here again. This hotel is clean and tastefully decorated. I like the convenient location near the University of Virginia. I stayed at a Holiday Inn near Northwestern University with the same star hotel that was much less appealing, and I think this hotel definitely deserves a 2.5 star. It would be better if they offered a continental breakfast, but they did at least have coffee in the lobby in the morning. read more
