Spacious rooms, Close to UVa and tons of places to eat.
We used the hotel during a college visit to Univ of Virginia. Free decent coffee. Heating/colling system was great and quiet. Staff moderately pleasant. Bathroom in need of repair. Buffet was not too hot and quality was that of a chuck wagon. Recommend the Cavalier Inn from a recent stay there. Great breakfast there and closer to Uva.

Close to Univ. of VA.
I have stayed there before, and the service has declined dramatically.
If you are visiting the University of Virginia, or the Charlottesville area, and want something a little better than a basic motel, this is a good choice. It is relatively close to the University and "The Corner,", has some dining options, although we did not try them, and is clean, although dated. Don't expect much service, though; even checking out took a while to get a clerk's attention. read more

Clean, high quality, comfortable beds, nice people.
Beds were full size, not queen.
We arrived in the evening and were surprised to find a bellman available to help with luggage. The hotel seems pretty new and the rooms were well appointed. Granite counter top in the bath, bath & bodyworks brand shampoo & lotion, fridge and microwave. The beds were small for us (full size not queen) We are tall and have long legs, the kids are all elbows and knees - so the beds weren't roomy - but were comfortable and the bedding was high quality. read more

It was a little far from where our event was, but not bad.
Nice hotel, friendly staff. The room was clean and beds were nice.

They provided free shuttle service to the airport and free pick up on return flight. They allowed me to leave my car in the hotel lot free of charge.
The room heat system was old looking and noisy.
Very convenient hotel to both the University and the airport. Easy to access from the highway with a free shuttle service to and from the airport. You may also leave your car at the hotel free of charge while on your travels. Staff was friendly and accommodating at every interaction.

Service was poor and condition of hotel/facilities not up to a 3-stars.
This hotel is in the process of remodeling and service ranges from acceptable to poor. The hotel has potential based on its location and facilities but you can not count on having an enjoyable stay.

The people that worked at the front desk.
It was under construction, and the rooms were not that nice.
An ok hotel, good location.

Was close to the university of Virginia.
Was in disarray due to construction.
Hotel room was clean but bathroom did not have soap or shampoo. Had to ask for these items and also for towels. (They only had one bath towel in the room).
