I was going in for a procedure at a nearby hospital, so this hotel's location was perfect.
The bathroom needed upgrading.
The hotel was fine, although I have received better discounts in different cities through Priceline.

Friendly staff and
good location.
Bathroom sink needs to be replaced.
Very enjoyable stay. I will stay there again next time I'm in Vancouver. I never had a chance to use them but I noticed there are laundry machines for guests to use. Next time I'll pack less and wash my clothes.

Kids eat free at the hotel's restaurant.
There is a nearby hospital and we can't get any sleep because of sirens of emergency cars and helicopter.
Good hotel overall but there is a nearby hospital and we can't get any sleep because of sirens of emergency cars and helicopter.

Location, view, remodeled bathroom, guest room furniture, pool, TV, friendly-helpful staff.
Dirty carpets in public areas and guest room. Outdated carpets in guest room hallways.
Rated as a 3, but I give it a 2.5. Could be a 3.5 if they replaced ugly, out-dated carpets in guest room hallways and instituted a 3 or 4 times a year carpet cleaning program in the public areas and the guest rooms!

Excellent location, friendly, free wireless, clothesline!
No jacuzzi.
If you're interested in the neighborhoods of Vancouver, you could do much worse than this Holiday Inn. Kitsilano, Granville Island, and Commercial Drive are all short rides away, and the Sky Train is just two blocks away. I had a great experience here. The check-in desk was efficient and friendly, elevators were quiet and fast, and my room was very comfortable, clean & quiet, with a view of False Creek and downtown. I love free wireless internet! I especially appreciated having a retractable clothesline in the bathtub. The pool looked great, and there's a terrace just off it for sunbathing. My only complaint was that there was not a jacuzzi. But I look forward to staying there again. read more
