Dirty, room smelled like stale cigarettes, A/C smelled like mold. Holiday Inn should be embarrassed!

Easy access to freeway, close to services.
Dirty window sill, rusty water in bathroom.

The general cleanliness (sheets, towels, carpets, etc) was good. But maintenance cleaning - rusty water, filthy window sills, and remote access doors, pathways -- dirty and poorly maintained -- felt run-down. Check-in staff didn't understand the concept -- am concerned I will be double billed.

Best Western across the street, with 2 star rating (less than Holiday Inn) was much better. There were carpet stains on the rugs, just not a 2 1/2 star - that was your highest rating for Waterville.
