Good for family with kids.
When checked-in, no room was available at the reserved location. Hard time to find site of another franchise.

I am afraid the reserved location (1 Plaza Dr., Secaucus, NJ) has been used as a bait. Felt cheated. Hard to find place of the changed hotel.

Close approximation to mall, free mall shuttle, short commute to NYC, own kitchen.
The room smelled strongly of disinfectants.

The hotel was nice, staff was helpful and friendly, the mall shuttle was convenient, and buses to NYC and local areas was right outside the hotel. Even though I did not use the laundry facility, it was good to know there was one.

As usual full size kitchen. This is what I like about ESA.
Everything else is below even 1 star. Booked around three months in advance, got the worst room. 1st floor laundry, traffic noise.

Worst location, got the worst room by laundry and electrical room, big AC unit outside the window, never ending traffic facing my open window just 50 feet away. When asked the front desk if they have a room facing away from traffic, I was told that no rooms at all, because a lot of people live there for years. Do not ever use this hotel!

Lobby floor was dirty, bedsheets were not changed, and rooms smelled cigarette smoke.

Very disappointed. On the fifth floor hot water took for ever to warm up.

Hotel location is good.
Not clean room which needs to be renovated.

Except good hotel location, the hotel room is needed for renovation a lot. The hotel doesn't seem to be three star at all.

The location was excellent 15 minute bus ride into manhattan, perfect.
I have nothing bad to say about it.

The hotel was so nice and clean. The proximity to manahattan was amazing , just jump on the bus in front of the hotel and get dropped off in times square 15 minutes later, you cant get better than that. The staff was so friendly , they even let me leave my car there overnight while i stayed in the city. I would plan on staying there in the future!

25 minutes from New York; bus ride away.
Furniture was outdated.

There was only an AC unit in the living room area, there was nothing in the bedroom. So if we had someone on the pull out couch they would freeze in order for us to get some air in the bedroom. Poor design.
