Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hotel 140

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Room was small but nicely appointed - great towels & linens - and it was very clean.

A great little hotel/guest house. Not deluxe but it had everything we needed and was both comfortable and clean. Had breakfast there and it was delicious. Personnel were friendly and helpful. We would definitely go back.

Location.
Small rooms.

The hotel fit us for what we needed. The rooms were not overly nice, but comfortable. We were in it rarely, so it fit what we needed. The staff was over the top great. We got everything we needed from them.

Great location. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and very helpful.
I did not have the wireless connection in room that I read in details on hotel room description.

Clean, but small room. Best for a night or two. Location was the best of the stay, $5 taxi ride to BMG. Overall, it was a nice place to stay for the night.

Location.
Small room, no table.

I booked an upgraded room with a Queen bed and a city view. When I checked in they gave me a tiny room with a full-size bed and view of a brick wall. I immediately went back to the front desk and they changed me to the room I booked. This is a no frills hotel, but the location is great.

Price, location, cleanliness, responsive staff.
Clothing storage furniture could be more useful. Clock-radio reception of local NPR station poor. HVAC noisy.

My room was small and plain, but clean. The bathroom was bright, well maintained, and clean. I slept well. Cleaning staff was responsive when I left a note with a specific request. This is a good hotel for business or pleasure travelers who are looking primarily for a clean, inexpensive place to sleep.

Great location and easy access to the city.
Small and
very basic.

Hotel was close to everything, near three T stops and including Back Bay station. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are small, bare bones but adequate for a no frills hotel.

Location.
The room.

Very good location. However, my room was very small, didn't have a wardrobe, the bed was also very small and the blinds didn't work meaning that I woke up everyday with the sunlight in my face.
