Hotel Blue

It is an adequate place to sleep.

This hotel was Art-Deco style - I felt it could've been on the Strip beachside in Miami. The rooms had recently been reworked and included fabulous details - very well thought out: lots of storage, new Temperpedic mattresses and carpeting, new carpeting, fresh paint, small fridge, microwave, coffee maker and a beautiful 36" flat screen TV with free HBO. They also offered free modem service in each room, plus their lobby contained 2 computers with printer for pre-flight check ins and easy internet access. The hotel also offered free Continental breakfast - but their coffee was extremely weak. That was the only negative during our stay. They also offered free shuttle service to Old Town and to the airport - a great service. Their staff was very friendly and helpful. read more

I've stayed at this hotel many times. It has a free shuttle from the airport. It is within walking distance of downtown, which includes bars and restaurants, so you don't have to drive. It is a much longer walk to Old Town and Nob Hill, which offers some other things similar to downtown.

I paid for two nights at this hotel and I left after one hour because I was afraid to stay there by myself. The star rating I paid for was not consistent with the actual hotel!

I would not recommend this hotel to family or friends. I did not feel safe at this hotel. The park across the street had homeless people sleeping on the grass. There was a drug bust at one of the hotel rooms while we were there. The hotel was not clean. Webs in the corners at the room. It was only clean in the center of the room. The bathroom was dark and dirty in the corners. The telephone in our room worked intermittently. Will not stay there again. read more
