Gorgeous, historic building preserved and treasured.
For the architecture buff (Daniel Burnham!) and Art Institute visitor (walking distance to Millenium Park and museum.) Immaculate room, excellent amenities, professional staff with warmth and friendliness, and view of the lake from our room!

Excellent staff, room and location for the price.
When I arrived I was upgraded to a suite. The suite was clean, bright, roomy. Staff was very helpful in all my requests including recommendations for dinner.

Perfect location for the Chicago Marathon.
No microwave and small fridge.
We enjoyed our visit and staying at this hotel. Our room had the perfect view for the Chicago Marathon which was the reason we were there. The complimentary wine tasting at the lobby was great. The restaurant was packed with people most of the time, but we didn't get to eat there since we spent most of the time visiting places in the city.

The room was beautiful and the staff was absolutly amazing!
The waiter from breakfast at the hotel's restaurant was rude and barely served us.
Our overall stay was great! The hotel was beuatiful and clean. It is located on state street right across from macy's. I would totally stay here again!
