Personal touch.
Breakfast hash browns.
We (my husband our 6 months old baby girl and myself), arrived at the Indigo after winning a bid on Priceline. The staff were very friendly and professional. We were surprised, especially as Priceline customers, to have received a free room upgrade upon arrival. Our room was beautiful and relaxing. A crib was provided for our little one and we loved the use of the courtesy umbrella. We had breakfast at the hotel and I recommend the Western omelet. The only things about breakfast we found could be improved were the hash browns and the Starbucks coffee. (But that's a personal preference.) We asked for and were given directions to the best Indian buffet I've ever eaten at. It was only a short walk away on Somerset. It was called East India Company.
Overall, with it's personal touch and unique rooms it is a very different experience from the usual big chain hotels. This hotel knows it is in the service industry and it knocks the ball out of the park. Thank you for the great weekend Hotel Indigo. read more

Fabulous location, appealing/restful decor, well assigned parking lot which otherwise could be a bit trick to find.
Please advise your desk staff to put a telephone customer on hold until they have completed their transaction with the guest.
The Indigo is a restful hotel located in a prime Downtown Ottawa location. Rooms are small yet tastefully decorated and appreciatively quiet. Staff were for the most part friendly and helpful. Limited stopping space in front of the hotel lobby made loading/unloading of luggage a bit of a challenge. There is fairly convenient underground parking available and reasonably good sign age to direct guests. read more

Facilities are beautiful and very clean. Staff was excellent!
Cost to park in their garage is $20/night.
My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly when we arrived and the room was beautiful. Very comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Free WiFi as well! We were lucky that it was the weekend so we were able to park on the streets for free, parking is an extra $20/night at the hotel's indoor parking garage.

Free internet and printer; good gym.
The hotel room that I was initially given had not been completely cleaned (pizza box with pizza slice left; old used soap still in bathroom!).

The staff was LOVELY. The hotel was really clean.
No breakfast and the small restaurant downstairs didn't have a family friendly menu. The pool was also cold.
The staff was lovely and helpful. Great location and in the middle of everything. Not really for families though.

Colorful and somewhat unique design.
Very small rooms and parking offsite and convoluted to find.
While attractive/well finished and comfortable, room was very small and barely acceptable for one person. Many rooms look out into another building close by. Parking very inconvenient. Hallway finishes looked like a unprofessional paint-over. Staff was friendly & helpful. Rooms overpriced for size. Definitely not a 4 star hotel.

Internet.
The ceiling was low in my room and I was on the second floor with thin windows so there was a lot of road noise. I could even hear people talking outside.

Nicely decorated and confortable room.
Restaurant service and staff not very friendly.
Good location, walking distance to Parliament Hill. Friendly and helpful front desk. It was good value for the money. Room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. I would highly recommend this hotel.
