Cleanliness and the aroma in the rooms.
That there was just a wading pool, not a swimming pool.

This hotel was immaculate; the lobby and the rooms had a European feel to them. For a small boutique hotel they had a very nice breakfast, bar and snack type restaurant.

Location and haiku/colors/ underground parking.
I felt the shower was unsafe. Glass and tile - no safety rails or mats; tile slippery. Had to be extremely cautious when showering.

The Indigo Hotel was a pleasant surprise for us. We were in Sarasota for concerts and the hotel was in an extremely convenient location. We definitely will stay there again. The Indigo theme of the hotel, the haikus and creative colors added to the charm. I especially appreciated the availability of computers for free in the business center. I highly recommend this hotel.

I LOVED the music that was played in the room, very relaxing for any traveler.
At first the wooden floor was hard to get used to, but I found it very homey.

This is a wonderfully decorated Florida hotel. Soft music is perfect for relaxation and the hotel bar and restaurant is a great place to relax and enjoy dinner or just a drink. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Made sure you knew you were welcomed and would enjoy your stay.

Unique rooms, clean, new, great location.
Front desk could have been more helpful, breakfast should be free.

Great rooms, great location, everything is new and clean. Would stay there again when I am in town. Breakfast included would have been nice as a business traveler, but not outrageous. I would recommend it.

Very basic rooms. Not many amenities. Very typical hotel room.

It was nice. I was expecting more. It was clean and workers were pleasant but not particularly helpful or attentive.

Loved the atmsophere, music payer in room upon entry.

Loved it and would definately stay again, it was new, clean and the bathroom was amazing. The music playing in the room was a nice feature.

Light, airy with superb staff in every way and every department.
I could hear the wake up calls in the next room.

The location is very convenient, the decor is refreshing and unique and the food was great, but best of all are the staff! Each one reached out in their own beautiful way to provide assistance, information and a friendly conversation. Thank you so much!

The employees, the room decor, the bed.
No tub, no view from room, awkward location.

Hotel Indigo seems like it tries to be hip and trendy, and succeeds with its decor and aura. The overall atmosphere in the hotel was a weird mix of fun and artsy/pretentious. The entrance of the hotel is hard to find and the hotel itself is sandwiched between large condo complexes which was the extent of the view from many of the rooms. The rooms themselves were nicely done with wood floors and beach decor. The bed was very comfortable. The employees were friendly and helpful. The strategically placed haikus were a nice touch. Overall I would recommend it if you couldn't find a place on the water. read more
