The Star Ferry and the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) station are a quick five-to-ten minute walk away. Hong Kong Int'l Airport: 21 mi/ 33 km, 30 minutes. The Mira Hong Kong is going through an extensive renovation project and the result will be a contemporary and stylish urban hotel. We count on your understanding that construction work is taking place from 9am - 6pm Monday to Saturday. The Fitness Centre is currently closed until mid-Oct 2009. Gym facilities will be temporarily relocated to the 1st floor and massage services will still be available throughout this period. read more

Staff tried a little too hard.

Brand new after refurbishment, very convenient for MTR, bars, restaurants etc.

Excellent high-tech amenities, newly remodeled.
There was a smell (from construction) outside the room, decor is a bit dark.

The Mira is a newly remodeled hotel. Its rooms features are impressive high tech amenities including complimentary wireless Internet, flat screen TV with IE browsing abilities, and i Pod dock. The bathroom is nice, and overall size of the room is great for the area in Hong Kong.

The staff was excellent on explaining everything about this fine hotel
A little bit of construction going on, but they were handling it well!

An excellent hotel, that I upgraded to the executive floor, and was happy I did it. A free breakfats, extended check out time, and even more fine service from an excellent staff. Thanks

Fantastic staff, great presence and location.
Little choice in food, had to move to 2 rooms because of construction.

This hotel had a fantastic staff that went way and beyond to accommodate us. Spotlessly clean, very convenient. Construction caused us to have to move twice because of water problems, but smooth and simple. No pool closed. We had a look at the eating facilities and found them greatly lacking. Seemed like very little food choices for such a nice hotel. A restaurant called The red pepper is beyond great hot but great! Have to take the MT to get to it. read more

The hotel was for sure 5 star. The hotel common facilities are very modern, complete, & comfortable. The staff was very attentive & helpful, went out of their way to make my stay OUTSTANDING. The rooms have every hi-tech gadget imaginable - lighting control, PC with free internet access, 46"flat screen, mobile phone to take with you around HK to not miss room calls. Bathroom has rain shower & massage shower head. Room is marble with high tech window design. Only negative is the location - it is right in the middle of the Nathan Rd shopping area - some may like. This hotel is EXCELLENT. read more
