The Hotel Miramar is a charming/ intimate/ European style boutique hotel located in Miramar. One of San Juans most historic neighborhoods overlooking the Condado lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean. Right in the heart of the business district and only a short walk to restaurants/ movie theatres/ shops/ the breaches of Condado/ San Juan Marina/ the cruise ship piers/ historical old San Juan and the new Puerto Rico Convention Center. From the roof top terrace or Sun Deck there is a spectacular view of the bay/ the lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean as well as the skyline of Condado. Enjoy a cool drink and watch the cruise ships and the yatchs sailing out of San Juan Bay. All studio size rooms feature a dry bar with mini fridge/ microwave/ 27 inches color TV/ AM/FM clock radios/ free wireless internet/electronic safes/ wall mounted hair dryers and voice mail messaging. The Hotel also offers a gym for working out with a multi station/ treadmill and stationary bike. The hotel reminded me of a B+B
A pool would be nice, a shower on the sundeck would be spectacular !!

This hotel is centrally located in the business district. You can pick up a tax or bus at any time. The hotel is quaint, it reminded me of a bed and breakfast. There is a room to relax with birds. They have a sun roof that has tables, chairs and loungers. All that is missing is a shower to cool off on those hot hot days

Staff was very friendly and helpful!
Breakfast that was given was very selective.

I liked the hotel a lot there was a nice little bar across the street! Also there was a couple different places to eat right across the street! People were very nice and friendly in Puerto Rico! I will be going there to vacation again!

Inexpensive stay for last minute and friendly folks.
The rooms smelled stale and musty.

Doesn't look like much from the outside, however the rooms were clean and accommodating. A very nice over look at the top of the building. Had a work out room and basic breakfast which was a surprise. The staff was very friendly and very helpful, like you were the only guest. Could easily stay here again.

Clean, nice location, very comfortable.
Internet did not work in my room on the 5th floor.

Overall, the hotel was very satisfactory, especially for the price. The room was more than big enough, clean, and had comfortable amenities. It's also fairly decently located - less than 10 minutes from the airport and probably a 15 minute walk from the bigger hotels/casino's along the beachfront.

The room appeared to be newly remodeled.
There was no hotel parking other than on the street.

From the outside, I almost went somewhere different; the hotel is small and easy to miss. But once I got inside I was very impressed. Very cozy, the room was great, clean, very large, and well furnished.

I spent one night, that was good for me.
It seemed run down, but like I said it was good for one night and that's all.

It's old and seemed dirty on the out side. Clean inside. Seems to have people hanging out in front of the hotel all the time. Felt unsafe.
