Lovely property, comfy beds, and attentive staff.
Due to the historic nature of the building, there is no pool.
We had a fabulous experience. The hotel staff was friendly, efficient and professional. The property is lovely. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The warm cookies were tasty and the wine was a nice afternoon touch. We will seek out Kimpton Hotel properties in the future.

Charming and small.
Heavy comforter, no lighter blanket.
We enjoyed our one-night stay very much. It was out of the way of the Inner Barbour traffic, yet close enough to walk if you desire. Dinner at the restaurant on the first floor was excellent. There were 6 in our party and everyone thought it delicious--simple food prepared very uniquely.

Accommodative to early checkin and late checkout.
Small rooms.
Location is not bad. 10-15 mins walk to Inner harbor or Lexington market. Lobby area and decor was pleasing. We were in room which was compact and overlooked alley of adjacent building. There was another windowless empty room ( storage room size)beyond the bathroom. I don't know the purpose of this extra room! fridge and flat panel TV in room. There was a note saying that we could get extra amenities like toothbrush, paste by paying extra. Things we liked- could check in early and check out later than times noted. We knew of the goldfish for room request and requested it - my daughter enjoyed her pet for the stay! Front desk was friendly.Things that could be better- having to ask for coffee maker; no newspaper; simple amenities that had to paid for. I heard of Kimpton kid gift on arrival, which was not offered to my daughter ( but maybe the front desk person was not aware of it). Housekeeping did the beds and thats about it! Overall was OK, but been in better places! read more

The restoration and architectural elements were beautiful. It was stunning.
My husband and I are originally from Baltimore and travel there often, so we have stayed almost everywhere in town and this hotel is in our Top Picks. It has a great location and fabulous service in a meticulously restored beautiful piece of architecture, added contemporary designed rooms and spacious bathrooms and what more could you ask for.
