Great service and facilities.
Rooms had no DVD players!!
We were very impressed with this hotel. We loved the staff and the facilities. Being a 4 star hotel I would expect that the rooms would be fully stocked with the latest technology.

Wonderful staff, cool and funky decor, great downtown location, nice wine reception.
Thin walls and very noisy frat-type party next door.

Very well decorated. Rooms and bathroom were built with quality materials.
Do not use the valet parking. Park next door yourself , cheaper.

Beautiful hotel with great location!
No free parking!
Hotel stay was great. Room was small but was very clean and the location was great. It was only a short walk to the salt palace convention center which was very convenient!

Location.
Bathroom needs to be larger and updated.
The Hotel Monaco is well located in the heart of downtown Salt Lake, with friendly staff and a unique flare that feels nice and relaxed at the same time. The building housing the hotel is historic, adding further character to the trip. The rooms and amenities are nice, though it is getting a bit ragged at the edges. Bathrooms could be more luxurious, but on the whole, it's a nice place. Bambara, the restaurant in the hotel is a wonderful spot for any meal, it has a great atmosphere and delicious food. It can be very romantic or great for a business dinner, as well, but may not be family friendly - though it isn't stuffy while still being gourmet. read more
