staff was great!!
no bathtub; room too small; musty smell
the staff is very friendly/accomadating but the facility itself needs to be "updated". I had to buy a "room freshner" as the room smelled musty.

Complimentary wine and beverages during daily managers reception.
The design of the hotel requires a lengthy walk to many of the rooms.
This property has the perfect blend of old world charm and new world comfort.

Beautiful hotel, great staff, just a fun time throughout.
Nothing.
Centrally located at the metro Chinatown stop. Staff members go out of their way to make sure guests needs are met. Historic building, beautifully remodeled. Wine hour was also fantastic.

Amazing building, high ceilings, great bar courtyard area for happy hour.
My room was very small.
Everything was excellent. I asked for a king room but knew I was getting the smallest room in the place - and I did.

Airy, spacious rooms,
CD player, high ceilings, large flat screen TV. Free internet.
Awkward renovation. Avoid the 1st floor (it's the basement).
Compare to places like the Hilton this place felt much more luxurious and modern with CD player and Flat screen TVs and fancy soaps and even a robe. Front desk seemed very well trained and happy to help. Rooms felt a little stark .

Beautiful architecture.
First floor corridors feel like being in the basement of the building. Air conditioner was noisy.
Bring walking shoes. The longest hallways ever! Think The Shining.

Excellent location. Very friendly staff.
Tiny room in the basement!
Staff was fabulous, location incredible, but my room was teeny tiny and in the basement.

I liked it's eclectic style and attentive yet relaxed staff.
The bathroom door in our hotel room didn't block out any bathroom noises.
This hotel is a gorgeous hotel right in the center of DC. It has a fun eclectic style, yet doesn't overwhelm. The staff was friendly and accommodating and helped to make our stay an enjoyable one.
