The downtown Hotel Murano is located steps away from the museum district and the theater district, and immediately adjacent to the Tacoma Convention Center. The bed was extremely comfortable. The view was incredible as well.
The rooms were slightly smaller than I had expected.

The lobby entrance was beautiful and very inviting. It was elegant and gave a great first impression. I do like that the elevators are key sensitive. The windows are very large so depending on which direction you're facing you have a great view. The beds are comfortable, as well as the robes that they provide in the rooms. The one thing that I did not like was that housekeeping knocked on our door twice in the early morning even though check out was later on and we had the do not disturb sign on the door. read more

Parking as I had just had surgery and had to walk quite a distance.

The hotel staff was friendly and had our room ready early!

The entrance set the style and pace.

This hotel is a Show Stopper!! So much more than we ever thought it would be. We stayed another night because it was so fantastic! From cocktails, meals, bed and bath, convenience and of course the wonderful staff!!

It was very comfy, I would go there again. It would have been nice to have a fridge and Mircowave in the room.

Beautiful artwork, very modern decor, comfortable bed.
Valet parking was lacking in attendant availability. Staff was not overly warm and friendly. I was charged for both self park and valet.

When you calculate in the cost of the room, plus the cost for parking and Wi-Fi access, it almost makes more sense to stay at a lower star level hotel where you technically get more for what you pay for. The decor alone is not enough to make it a great experience if you are also looking for value. Too many add-on charges. I have gotten more for less at many other places with lower ratings. read more
