Room was away from street, beautiful fire place and convenient location.
Charged $20 per day for parking.

Beautiful, romantic hotel, clean and cozy room and friendly staff.

I had was so unique. It is like they thought of everything
I could possibly need before I asked. The bed with wood frame, fireplace, balcony, wood shutters, I loved it.

Roomy, very comfortable beds, great continental breakfasts, handy to wharf, downtown Monterey.
Limited drawer space for storage; no desk space.

Great location close to the waterfront. Rooms are bright and spacious with fireplaces, hardwood floors. Continental breakfast and afternoon tea provided. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Good location, clean, comfortable and fireplace. Loved the breakfast.
Back patio not very private, open to neighbor's yard and parking.

Lovely. Enjoyed the aquarium and fisherman's wharf.

I liked the location, the suite-like room, having a shower and tub, the garden patios and spa.
The heavy shutters kept the rooms too dark during the day and the elevator was extremely slow.

I was very pleased with our room. It was very thoughtfully arranged. The sitting area was separate from the sleeping area. I regret that we had such a short time to spend there as the ambiance would have made a longer stay even more enjoyable.

Hotel was nice, clean, airy, simple yet contemporary and not frilly.
Continental breakfast attendants were helpful, but one of them wasn't very pleasant. Maybe they were just busy.

I didn't expect this from the 2.5 star rating of the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here, and we'd definitely go back! The complimentary continental breakfast was very good as well.

Beautiful, large Mediterranean-style rooms.
Very noisy, tile hallways that echo loudly.

The rooms are very beautiful and comfortable overall. The bed was large and very soft. The only issue that my wife and I had was that the room was very noisy. The rooms are surrounded by tile hallways that create a loud echo effect when anyone passes by, talks, laughs, whatever. It woke us up at least 3 times during the middle of the night. The room itself has tile and wood floors throughout, so noise does not get absorbed. We could also hear lots of road noise from the street outside. read more

The gorgeous rooms are luxurious. The hotel was central to Monterey's attractions too!
We had to pay $16 a day for parking.

Hotel Pacific was beautiful. Affordable luxury in a great location. What more do you need? We will definitely be back!
