Locked mini bar (strange) and small bathroom.

I loved staying at this hotel - the service was incredibly friendly and the amenities were great. Unfortunately the weather was lousy while I was in DC but the hotel provided a free (and sturdy) umbrella for me to use. Although I was unable to attend, the hotel also hosts a free wine reception in the evening. I was upgraded upon check-in to a huge room and the amenities were amazing - zebra print bathrobe, wired and high speed internet, comfy bed, etc. I also needed to leave my bags at the hotel for most of the day and it was a very quick and painless process! There was also free coffee and tea in the lobby in the morning. read more

I really enjoyed the decor and the location.
I thought the room was extremely small and I got a view of the parking lot.

A lot of attentions to details. Very clean. Staff were friendly.
They charged my credit card instead of letting me pay cash for phone charges. Breakfast and parking were too expensive.

The hotel was very nice. But the room I received was inadequate.

We were forced to upgrade to a larger room with a king bed and had to pay extra for a cot to use since the hotel could not accommodate us with a room with two beds since the hotel was full.

Clean, contemporary design.
The room needed minor repair in the bathroom (i.e. wallpaper peeling off the bottom of the bathroom walls and the bathroom door had major scratches).

All in all I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in DC on a short trip that would like a clean, convenient location and contemporary design.
