Rooms are too small.

The rooms are beautiful but just too small. You don't need a remote to turn the televion, it's right there. I think the furnishing are too large for the room which adds to the awkward feel

I loved the boutique look of the hotel.
There wasn't anything that I didn't like.

We enjoyed the hotel very much. As soon as we walked in, we noticed how clean it was. They had lovely fireplaces in the lobby. The staff was very friendly and there were people at the front who held the door open for you and hailed cabs if needed. The room was fabulous. Very nicely decorated. The hotel even provided these great animal print robes.

No one offered to take our bags to our room and the concierge(s) were stunningly uninformed.

The location was great,esp if you love to walk and close to the metro. The rooms were clean and comfortable though nothing to wow you. We appreciated the quietness of our room and slept great.

Great atmosphere and vibe, friendly & welcoming, pet friendly, and great decor.
Parking is expensive plus a parking tax was lame (maybe not their fault).

The Hotel Palomar was fantastic! I'm a Kimpton Hotel convert. What a lucky match from Priceline. The hotel is beautiful with really cool modern and funky decor. But it was not snobby or stuffy- the staff was friendly and courteous. The stay made us feel wealthy, but didn't cost us an arm and a leg! The bed was extremely comfortable and although the rooms are somewhat small you do not feel cramped and it is just right. Loved it. Also, how cool is it that they are pet friendly? And there is no way you'd be able to tell based on how immaculately clean it is! read more
