Very convenient to Dupont Circle Metro, wine sampling 5 PM-6 PM.
The decor was odd mixing of modern and animal print, but not garish.
Make sure you use the valet parking, it is required not optional like the hotel website makes it sound. They do provide travel cribs, but they are older and we didn't keep our 3 month old in there because she could get her legs and arms through the slats too easily.

Amazing service, close to the metro and the restaurants all over were incredible.
Nothing, it was the best we've ever stayed in.
Hotel Palomar exceeded our expectation from start to finish. The staff was wonderfully friendly and accomodating. The parking wasn't too unreasonable for this city. The pool was clean, bright and outdoors, which was lovely.

there was no lock on the bedroom door, suite was nothing special
i was traveling for leisure, chose a suite for some privacy away from children, there was no lock on the bedroom or bathroom door, therefore there was no privacy. The room was felt cheap. Not at all what i hoped for. also i was not informed of a fee for parking and received an $80 bill at checkout. And i think the concierge was stoned!

The room was wonderful! Happy hour great & am tea/coffee nice too!
This is a great place to stay! The room was absolutely wonderful and we felt spoiled staying here. We would not have been able to stay here had it not been for a Priceline deal! Met some really nice people at happy hour (5-6 pm every night) with generous portions of wine, white sangria or sodas. Coffee and tea in the lobby each am was great too. I would definitely go back! The bellmen and front desk people were very personable and helpful. Just a great trip all the way around. read more

Very comfortable beds and awesome linens.
Regular front desk staff was rude - concierge was great.
The room we were given did not have air conditioning and it was very muggy. After talking to the concierge, we were moved to a bigger room with working air conditioning.
