Description of Hotel Santa Fe
As Santa Fes only Native American-owned hotel, located in the historic Guadalupe district just a few short blocks from the plaza. We provide more than just incomparable accommodations and a super location. We offer a chance to see the city through the eyes of the people who know it best, the Picuris Pueblo. Upon arrival, you will discover the richest textures of southwestern artistry. Our unique rooms and suites feature amenities and furnishings with the authentic flavor of Santa Fe. Witness the native traditions and culture, from dinner in a teepee, authentic ceremonial dances on our patio, savoring the flavor of traditional pueblo bread or songs and tales by local musicians and story-tellers by our Kiva fireplace. Hotel Santa Fe also offers an outdoor pool and hot tub, full spa treatments and our Amaya Restaurant featuring innovative Native cuisine from traditional American Indian fare. Amaya highlights local Pueblo and northern New Mexican influences, as well as regional foods from around the U.S. The casual, inviting atmosphere keeps the focus on fine food and conversation. Amaya also offers seasonal garden patio dining with majestic mountain views and private dinners in our Teepee. So come and experience the warmth and beauty of our Native American Heritage. read more

Quiet, unique atmosphere, excellent pro-active service.
Should not book children in rooms adjacent or above couples. Heating units a bit noisy.

The Hotel Santa Fe is unique among the downtown Santa Fe hostelries because it is controlled by the Picuris Pueblo and the spirit of southwestern pueblo culture fills the rooms and public spaces. Subdued lighting, Native American weavings and sculpture add to the atmosphere. The staff was friendly and very helpful, the service is prompt and professional, and if you stay in the Hacienda wing you are treated to an even higher level of smiling service along with fireplaces and complimentary shuttle service to the Plaza and Museum Hill. The rooms are solidly furnished and quiet, although those facing Manhattan or Guadalupe Streets now suffer just slightly from the sound and lighting of the newly active train station. The bathrooms are spacious with tile floors and, in our room, a beautiful glass shower with marble seat and double shower head. Though not unfriendly to children, the serene, almost cocoon-like atmosphere of the place makes noisy or ill-behaved children that much more unpleasant. If you have a boisterous brood, please, stay somewhere else! read more

Beautiful, dog friendly, nice pool/spa area.
No robes, expensive water bottles, tiny bathroom, limited cable.

The decor was uncommonly beautiful in both the lobby and the room. It was so nice to come in after a long day walking around town, find the hotel easily, and hit the Jacuzzi. We also noticed people bringing their dogs in, and next time we will bring ours. I had hoped the room would provide robes to wear down to the pool area, and I've grown accustomed to complimentary water in the room and a free light breakfast at cheaper hotels. The bathroom was pretty but very small, so we could not share the sink even to brush our teeth. The pillows on the bed were quite comfortable but the bedspread could have been a bit larger to avoid fighting over covers at night. read more

Convenient to Downtown Santa Fe.
Very expensive for the amenities offered.

Nice, but certainly not a 5-star hotel, although priced like one. The restaurant was not good.

Genuine Indian Southwest motif was pleasing.
I liked everything.

Hotel Santa Fe was a charming, comfortable, and very pleasing place to stay. The outside areas of the swimming pool and patio dining were handsomely landscaped with Southwestern vegetation and flowers. The courtesy van service was a wonderful bonus that worked beautifully. I definitely would stay there again.

Beautiful, soothing atmosphere.
Restaurant is a bit overpriced for the quality of service.

Hotel Santa fee has a very relaxing atmosphere. From the beautifully appointed room with warm colors and soft lighting to the gorgeous grounds and friendly staff. Highly recommended and very reasonable rates!

Although there was a 2 foot snowfall, the staff performed very well under pressure.
Lobby and common areas relatively small for size of hotel, spa services minimal on site.

Very comfortable hotel with good amenities. It is far enough away from the main square to be more moderately priced but close enough to walk to.
