The hotel was great, but the staff was fantastic.
The room and bathroom were small and there was no venting system in the bathroom other than the window.
The hotel is nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. They accommodated us in every way possible.

Cafe next door, funky lobby decor, and great location.
Unacknowledged concierge, small bathroom, and low shower head.
Overall, this was a good hotel. The location was great, it was clean, the rooms are small but adequate, there are places to eat nearby, and it has a funky vibe that I liked. On the negative side, two different concierges that I asked questions of did not seem especially knowledgeable about the area. The windows are rather narrow, and the air conditioner is a wall unit that rests in the bottom of the window, blocking most of the view and making the room a bit cave-like. There were not very many channels on the TV, maybe 15 or so. The bathroom was quite small. read more

Loved the decor and the bedding. Staff was friendly and welcoming.
The hallways look old and tired. I realize this is an old building and the hallways reflect that age, but not in a good, charming way.
Overall this hotel was great. The beds were completely comfortable and the bedding tied the room together. It was a great place in a great location. Hallways could be improved.

Fairly convenient to city attractions and quite clean.
Small room, no coffee maker in room and some snippy staff.
Over-priced.

Great location for shopping! The staff was excellent, and should be praised. They very helpful, polite, funny, and had great service attitude.
It was just a little bit small, but it wasn't a problem.
Hotel Triton is a fabulous place to stay on business or leisure. It is right next to the gates of Chinatown, and is walking distance to the great mall, restaurants, bars, shops, coffee shops, and of course Chinatown. If you are looking for a weekend of shopping or a place to stay that is affordable and in the city, this hotel is perfect for you. Valet service was on it, cabs are in abundance, the staff is excellent, and the rooms are unique and easily accessible. We highly recommend it. read more

Zany, colorful, friendly.
What's there not to like?
Right away I knew I'd love this hotel zany, colorful lobby, friendly staff, interesting artwork even in the room, blown glass light fixtures every detail seemed to have a whimsical touch. Great location gateway to Chinatown but just a block or two from Union Square.
