The staff was excellent! Everyone that I came in contact with was eager to help and did so.
The rooms were very small.
The staff were very eager to help with any problem or request that I had. I was traveling with my daughter and originally we were given a room with a queen sized bed. The single queen rooms are not big enough to accommodate a roll away bed. So,we were moved to a room with a king sized bed which was also large enough to accommodate a roll away. On our last night there we were moved to a room with two queen sized beds. All of the staff were really nice and helpful. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and I would stay there again, but I'd make sure that I was going to have a room with two queen sized beds to start with. Great staff! read more

Location.
Room is too small, no complimentary breakfast, no parking.
They gave me a bad room at dark corner although I checked in at 2-3 pm early. The room is too small and there is no complimentary breakfast but from the hotel brochure, there should be. A bad stay at Triton.

I really liked the decor it was fun and different.
Valet parking took us over 2 hours to get car.
The hotel was very nice I loved the different decor. Our stay was very nice, however, we did have problem with valet parking when we left the room. We waited over an hour and then we ended up getting our car ourselves. The hotel was very apologetic and credited our room for the parking. I would stay there again when we are in San Francisco.

Unique and funky
Our first room was uncomfortably tiny and seemed unclean
It seems like it would be a fun place to stay if you are with a group of friends for a good time.

The location and price were wonderful.
Our windows could have used a good washing outside.
Very pleasant hotel in a desirable location. The employees were welcoming as was the general atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

Quirky in a good way -- not snobby or ultra cool.
Rooms are small.
Right outside the gate to Chinatown and not far from the Financial District and North Beach, the Triton is extremely well located for visitors to SF. The somewhat tiny rooms are well appointed and un-chain-like. This is an older hotel that has been intelligently and artfully updated. Complimentary morning coffee and early-evening wine are much appreciated, and the staff is great. read more

The lobby was so different and unlike a boring hotel.
Our room faced an alley which was extremely noisy at night.
Hotel Triton is a wonderful place to stay in SF. It is within walking distance of Union Square, and just across the street from Chinatown. Two cable car lines are just blocks away and provide easy access to Fisherman's Wharf. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they provide coffee in the mornings, cookies in the afternoon, and a wine reception every evening. I would highly recommend this hotel. read more
