Large room with fridge and microwave.
Bed was not that comfortable.
Hotel was very reasonably priced for the room size and amenities. Also, included a continental breakfast.

Nothing fancy, just a place to sleep and shower. Restaurants are very close by.
Room was too close to main road, very noisy didn't sleep because of traffic.
Was okay, traffic noise, and breakfast area not too clean but room was fine.

Staff was friendly and helpful.
Not bad for the money. I've stayed in worse and paid a lot more for my stay.

The gentleman who checked us in was extremely helpful and friendly, with suggestions and directions for anything we may want to see.
The bed was as hard as a rock and extremely uncomfortable.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, with suggestions on the best places to eat, as well as ideas for local attractions to visit. The room was functional and had a microwave and small refrigerator which would be handy for a longer stay. The bathroom was semi-dirty- hair tangled in the hair dryer, mildew stains along the bottom of the shower curtain. The bed was terrible - hard as a rock. Not firm, but hard. We could hear the water running whenever a neighbor flushed or showered, but it wasn't terribly loud. The one window looked out on the walkway & parking area. read more

Room had microwave and refrigerator and was in excellent condition.
Although this hotel was close to a main road, it was very quiet, many amenities in the like new rooms and had a great continental breakfast.

I was glad to leave.
Dirty sheets, smelled bad, and boogers on the pillow case.

The Howard Johnson Inn in Lenox, Mass was poorly maintained. There was dirt all along the edge of the room. There was no lighting near the closet area and the bathroom had hair in the tub. Huge turnoffs for me. I would not recommend this place to my friends.

My experience was terrible because of the in-room theft.
Theft from my room by the motel staff.
Money was stolen from my room. I went to the front desk as soon as I realized it and acknowledged it was stupid for my daughter to leave $50 in quarters (I brought them to her to use at the coin-operated laundry in her apt. building), but nonetheless it isn't unreasonable to expect security either. I asked who had access to my room, and he replied only the housekeeper. I waited until the next morning so that the owner and front-desk manager could talk to her. She, of course, denied stealing the money. I made a report with the Lenox, MA, police, and an officer indeed interviewed the housekeeper, who continued to deny taking the money. The fact remains that someone from the Howard Johnson's Inn who had access to my room stole the money. The management did not seem concerned about it at all, which added insult to injury. The hotel is aging -- and not well -- but it is clean. My stay there, however, was completely unsatisfactory and I would not recommend it to anyone. read more
