I liked its proximity to major stores.
The hotel room was old, worn, and smelled.
I didn't like this hotel. The very fact that when we checked in, we were given access to a room that was already occupied, so it made me uncomfortable for the rest of my stay. As soon as we would get back to the hotel, we put on the deadbolt and chain. But that didn't help when we were out of the room and unsure if someone could be going through our things.

It was easy to find and close to restaurants and attractions.
I was surprised with how clean it was for the price.

Incredibly clean, spotless in fact, and very friendly staff.
Not a very attractive building.
When I pulled into this hotel, I was afraid I would have to find another. It doesn't look like much at all from the outside, and while it was not dirty, it looked a bit worn out. When I went inside to check in, the hotel staff was incredibly friendly, and my two requests were promptly handled. When I got to my room, I was shocked at how spotless it was. I have stayed in 3.5 star hotels that could take lessons from this hotel's cleaning staff. The bathroom, although it had a garish red tub/shower, gleamed like it was brand new. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Niagra who wanted simple, clean and affordable accommodations. read more

The evening staff was friendly.
Their breakfast hours were not long enough and too early for being on vacation.

The price.
The continental breakfast was meager, no milk no cereal or yogurt, only coffee, toast, tiny donuts & sub-par fruit.
Generally good motel. I should have asked for a downstairs room, but I didn't think of that.

I found the heart shaped tub hysterical and the price was good.
I wish the hotel had been closer to the falls.
This HoJo's was an economical way to stay in the Falls area. I did not request the Deluxe Suite and was upgraded, only to discover a heart shaped hot tub in my room. The combination of tackiness and hilarity made the situation pleasant, but the problem was that the shower and bathroom situation was seriously compromised by the presence of the hot tub, since the lighting in the toilet area was spotty at best. Overall, for the price, it wasn't a bad deal. read more

Nothing.
The bed was uncomfortable. The mattress kept shifting we had to constantly fix it. The pool had what looked like peeling paint at the bottom.
Might be suitable for an overnight stay but not for anyone looking to stay more than two days. The bed was very
uncomfortable the AC had a piece of cardboard covering a part that was broken.
