The rooms had refrigerators and microwaves, big plus.

The hotel was clean and basic but it was not near the city and it wasn't all that close to the airport. If your unfamiliar with Portland there are better alternatives. On the plus, the rooms were better equipped than some higher starred hotels, I usually have to throw food or drinks out because they don't keep overnight but the refrigerators and the microwaves are a huge plus.

Price, staff was friendly, easy to get to.
Room I was put in was pretty run down and not exactly clean looking.

Hotel was okay overall, room was pretty run down (peeling wallpaper, needed new paint, etc.) and walls looked dirty. Not sure if I was placed in this room due to price I paid or if all of the hotel rooms are like this. Staff was very friendly and location was easy to find.

Nice workspace for 2 star joint.
Great unless screaming baby in co joined room.

Neighborhood in transition up from a little dumpy, security enhanced by limited driveways, and surprisingly little road noise.

I felt basically safe in an unfamiliar area of town, in a remotely familiar city. It was the deciding factor having the shuttle available.
The scent in the hallway and room was a little overpowering; like to cover something. The pool had a locked gate & sign said it was open.

I would stay here again if I needed to be in town for another early morning flight and hope the overpowering scent was of a fluke, remnants of cleaning up after a previous guest. The shuttle guys were the best part; they were very nice, respectful and helpful. The nearby 7-Eleven was the only shopping available that I could find and it would have been neat to go across the street to see what The Grotto was all about, but it was closed. Not much else around to pass an early evening. I could maybe have gone to the front desk and asked to enter the pool, as it was only at 8:30pm or 9pm and the pool was posted to be open to 10pm. read more

Location was good.
The Internet was slower. than molasses.

It was the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in.

Breakfast is good.
Need to specifically request (and very difficult) to get a non-smoking room.
