Close proximity to the zoo..
Lacking small comforts.

Although clean and friendly, lacked some of the small comforts that I'm used to. A
little to far from dining when without a vehicle.

It was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
It was not in the greatest area of Toronto.

When we arrived we were concerned about the area surrounding the hotel as it looked a little run down, but once inside the building everything was clean and tidy. The clerk was most helpful and pointed out that I was paying in US dollars even though I am a Canadian checking into a Canadian hotel and had not noticed the US charge on the sheet.

Non-smoking rooms.
Cheaper than what you pay for.

The bathroom towels had hair in them. The breakfast was okay with few options. The Internet shut off at midnight while my husband was in the middle of doing something. It was a non-smoking room, which was the main reason we switched where we were staying in the first place. We didn't pay too much and we only stayed one night before we went somewhere else.
