Location in Manhattan. Period.
Very tiny tiny rooms, over-rated, no sound or weather proof windows.
First glimpse, you think it’s a fancy hotel, but wait till you get to your room. A queen bed with only 2 feet around. That's it. Barely any space to move or even walk through the room. Even the toilet is so small, cannot fit the average adult person. I think if I was taller than 6 feet, or heavier then 250 lbs, I literally would not fit to set on the toilet. The room windows were neither weather, nor noise proof. You can feel the cold breeze come down on the bed, and hear all the emergency vehicles outside, exactly if you were lying sleep on the side of the street. The thermostat was available in the room, but obviously was giving heat only, so when it was on, the room was boiling, and we were caught between the boiling room, and very cold October breeze from the leaky windows to the outside. We had our neighbor in the next room complain of the same issues, the next morning. read more

Nothing - horrible experience.
I had to pay more money at check in to accomodate my 2 kids - horrible experience.
Upon check in in the afternoon they did not have any rooms with 2 beds. We had to get 2 roll awsys for my kids and they did not even fit in the room. It was a fire hazard and uncomfortable for everyone. And they charged me more money for the room. It was a joke and we did not have any option at that time of the day. Never ever will I stay at this hotel again.

Smallest room I've ever seen!
The public spaces in the hotel were great, and the location was perfect for us (right by Central Park and the wedding we had to go to), but we were traveling with an infant and the room was unbelievably small. We had the stroller half-sticking out of closet, put our portable cot on one side of the bed and had moved the desk to the other side of the bed to have more space, so the only way to enter the bed was from the foot of the bed. No storage space for clothes, except hanging space in the closet (although the stroller was in there, so we only hung a few items). Every staff member we interacted with was very friendly and helpful, and security offered to FedEx an item we'd left behind (although it was the bellstand's fault it got left behind, and we're still waiting to receive the FedEx package). Lobby was gorgeous and the bars were probably great too, although we couldn't visit them because we had our 6-wk-old baby with us. read more

Decor.
Futon/platform bed and the
size of room is tiny.
Rooms are too small for this class of hotel. Barely 1 foot of room on each side of the bed. No room to store a suitcase. Beds are not for older people. They are low to the ground futon/platform type beds.

Proximity to Central Park, chicness.
room was very, very small!
I liked the people, location and atmosphere. I hated the room. First room was 150 sq ft so we upgraded for another $60 per night! and it was still small.

Very Clean /Common areas clean and pretty.
Rooms were tiny boxes with very dark hallways.
Good for young couples without children. Very modern with night club in lobby with a lot of traffic.
