Safe, clean, friendly staff and
convenient location.
Room was clean but was outdated.
This is a pleasant hotel, well situated with many amenities. When we needed a bellman and he was unavailable a maintenance man was immediately sent instead. The place is spotless, if outdated. Most importantly the hotel was safe. The restaurant was very good. All the staff was very pleasant.

The pool is amazing!
I have nothing.
Definitely got what I paid for and then some. Had an amazing time, its beautiful, romantic, and fun for the kids.

The concierge was very helpful and friendly.
The desk clerk tried to charge us to two rooms our second night.
The overall look of the hotel was clean and so was our room, but on the second day upon returning to our room we noticed the garbage had not been removed and general supplies not replaced. A dirty glass was left in the bathroom. Plus parking for hotel guests was not a priority over their bar and concert attendees.

The hotel staff was great.
There were several buildings and it was difficult to find mine in the dark.
The hotel room was very nice and was clean. Our room looked out over the bay. It also had a balcony that we could stand on to watch the concerts that they offer almost nightly. I checked in around midnight and there was still someone on staff at the desk and they were courteous. I had lunch at the restaurant and the view and food were great. I'm surprised the star rating is only a three. I had a great experience here. read more

I left money in the safe, along with other documents and left a message for their lost&found department, stating about two hundred dollars. They sent me exactly $200, but I reviewed my bank withdrawal receipt and my receipts since and it appears that $100 more was missing. I believe the staff person took advantage of me being in a stressed state when I called (on the phone) and sending me back only what I originally stated I thought I had - not what I actually had left in the safe. Also, I instructed him not to send it on Saturday and he did, for which I was charged an additional $15 by FedEx. read more

Hotel was very clean, rooms were very nice, had huge LCD HDTV, granite bathrooms, nice pool and hottub.
It was a little difficult to get our suitcases from our car in the parking lot to our room, and they charge $10/night for parking :(
Great hotel, was a little worried when I first saw the name, but don't let the name scare you, this is a really nice place to stay. Rooms are very nice, beds are comfortable, huge LCD HDTV, granite bathrooms, Pool and hottub area had outside bar.

The staff was polite and we had a TERRIFIC ROOM!
Nothing.
We had a 1000 ft suite and excellent service at the Humphreys. The restaurant and pool area were great. The hot tub is large and clean and the pool was huge. Fabulous place.

Friendly staff, beautiful grounds, comfortable room.
Despite a Do Not Disturb sign the maid cleaned my room. I keep the room clean and don't need daily cleaning.

Shelter Island location.
Pillows and bed linens were old and tired.
