Complimentary Parking. Complimentary Continental Breakfast. City or River View rooms include mini refrigerator, coffee maker, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. The bedroom and living area are separated by a half wall to offer semi-privacy. The 42in HDTV is in the center of the room for viewing capability from the cozy corner or Hyatt Grand Bed area. Just a short walk to the enjoyment of fine dining, shopping, and entertainment. We are on the corner of Durango & St. Mary's Street. Riverwalk access is right out our backdoor, and within 5 minutes you are in the entertainment and dining area plus the Riverboat rides. Walking distance to the King William Historic District, Convention Center, Children's Museum, La Villita, Arneson River Theater, RiverCenter Mall, the Alamo and much more! Other nearby attractions include Witte Museum, San Antonio Zoo and SBC Center. We are only a 15 minute drive to SeaWorld of Texas or Six Flags Fiesta Texas! WI-FI available. Nearby companies include HEB, Federal Building & US Courts Training Center, SBC, CPS, Nortel, Bank of America, Booz-Allen, Valero - 4 miles, Wells Fargo-4 miles, Fort Sam Houston-4 miles, Boeing - 7 miles, Lockheed Martin- 7 miles, Kelly USA-7 miles, Lackland AFB -7 miles, Brooks City Base 5-miles, & Toyota Motor Manufacturing-Texas, Inc - 10 miles, Randolph AFB-14 miles. Rooms were very roomy, modern, & clean.

Greeted every time we walked in the door. Complementary breakfast was always fresh. Overall a nice place to stay.

Cleanliness and large HDTV.
Found a hair on shower wall.

I was very pleased with this hotel. I found it to be comfortable and everything I needed was within walking distance, using the River walk. The HDTV was a bonus. The atmosphere of lobby was welcoming and the food was good.

In process of remodeling.

When remodeling is completed it will be great. The staff was extra nice and friendly. Would stay here again.

Beds are awful and room is very dated.

Not a safe hotel. I stayed one night and my car was broken into and apparently this is pretty common at this hotel. And besides from that, very over priced.

Close to the river walk.
Bed was just ok and badly needed a new comforter.

My overall experience here was good. The staff was great, the location was great, and breakfast was good. The room I was in was clean but the bed was just below average. I'd definitely recommend this hotel for vacationing families and business travelers.

Plenty of room, fairly quiet, good location for me.
Parking lot was being repaired.

I found this hotel comfortable and roomy. The bed was comfortable, and having a refrigerator and microwave was a real plus. It was close enough to the convention center to walk (about 10 minutes). Very nice 2.5 star hotel stay. I would stay there again.

Great wireless internet for the business traveler. Nice location.
The breakfast was marginal.

Very friendly staff. Close to convention center and good eateries. The section of river walk it is on is not the scenic part but it's close to all the action. Room was very clean and large. I would stay there again.

Hotel location; train/truck noise outside the hotel.

Here's my biggest beef with this hotel: though it calls itself the amerisuites river walk, the river walk itself is probably a 12-15 minute through a less than stellar part of town. Highly misleading, very disappointing and potentially dangerous. This should not be listed as an option for those wanting to stay near the river walk.
