The stay was great, they switched my room from a king to a double at my request.
I liked the hotel, it was relaxing and had a great
TV and easy access to
TV ports (RCA, HDMI, S Video).

Beautiful decor and very comfortable rooms and beds.
Always have problems with my credit card - their computer system seems flakey.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It has beautiful decor, the rooms are very comfortable and well equipped. The TV is big and had lots of selection. The WiFi worked well and quickly.

Great area, close to lots of shopping. Nice, clean, comfortable room. Nice light breakfast included with room or you could purchase full breakfast.

Very pleasing experience. Clean, very good service, nice breakfast included, and free Wi-Fi in the whole building.

The room was very spacious.
While the rooms at the Hyatt Place in Utica, MI were very nice and spacious with a big flat panel TV, I was disappointed in the fact that there were a few maintenance issues. On the first day we were there, 1 of the 2 elevators was out of service (and we were staying on the 6th floor). When we got to our room, the fridge did not work. The staff did have the fridge replaced later in the evening. The next day, both of the elevators did not work and we had to climb up the stairs to the 6th floor (it's a good thing we were already checked in and didn't have to carry a bunch of clothes to our room). Also on the 2nd day, our room did not get cleaned even though we had stopped by the front desk and told them that we needed it done (we had slept in). We were told that it would be taken care of, but it was not so we had no clean towels. They did bring us a set of clean towels when we called to complain and they offered to give us a free movie which we did not use. We were there for a total of 3 days and during that whole time, not once did both elevators work. We had to wait for long periods of time for the one that was working and I don't think this is satisfactory. I was not told when I checked in that the elevator was out of service or was offered any compensation for our inconvenience. Also, the rear door of the hotel was never locked so you never needed a key to get in even though you are supposed to be a guest of the hotel to gain entrance through that door. read more
