Very good hotel in downtown location and within easy access to many of Austin, TX's main attractions and restaurants, some within walking distance.

Too much sun in restaurant.
Great place to stay, centrally located, great view of fireworks for 4th of July.

Rooms were very comfortable and the location was great to downtown.
No refrigerator or microwave in the room.
The staff was very helpful and remembered my name. I can't ever remember having to pay to park on the hotel parking area. Personally, I feel that this is a real rip-off. $10.00 per day or $15.00 per day for valet.

The location on town lake's walking trail is wonderful and beautiful.
No complaints at all.
The hotel exceeded my expectations. I needed a changeover from down pillows and comforter to non-allergenic. The hotel staff accommodated my needs immediately and cheerfully.

Location was great - nice room and lobby.
Pay for self parking - no microwave or refrigerator in room.
The hotel was very nice but I would have appreciated having the above mentioned microwave and refrigerator. I also did not like paying for self parking. The real negative was that the floor underneath the toilet looked like it had not been cleaned. It appeared to have urine stains all around the base of it.

Lake side location with lake side trails and boat rides.
Self parking is additional $10 per day.
Great hotel. Offered me type bed, type room and floor level. I ended up on the Gold Pass floor (top 2 floors) with a view of the lake in a king bed for my birthday!

Lack of higher level restaurant.
I met with friends at the hotel and was pleased with the bar, lobby, room and location. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom wasn't large, but it was nice. We liked the mirror area outside the bathroom and the coffee in the room with real mugs! The staff was friendly and very helpful when we had a problem with our order-in movie to the room. We had wanted a great place for a fun time, and we got it. read more
