With a "typical Hyatt atrium layout", a "Morton's Steakhouse in the lobby" and solid rooms with "superior bedding", this outpost is a "welcome retreat after a long business day" report road warriors; even if a few find the gym facilities "old" and complain of nearby "construction noise", others cite the "courteous staff, particularly at the front desk", and the location, with "lots of places to eat within a three-block radius" and an on-site Metro stop for quick trips into DC, as further reasons to stay here.

Nice room. Manager helped to compensate for very disappointing situation.
We had to get up at 4 am to be somewhere. Upon arrival we learned there would be no water from 1 to 6 am, just when we needed it most!

The friendliness of the staff plus it has improved from our last visit.
The room and bathroom is not as clean as in other Hyatts.

It
is a convenient location in downtown Bethesda. Very friendly staff typical of the Hyatt brand. Still lacks efficiency in many areas. There is room for improvement in the housekeeping department.

The staff tried their best to help.

My husband has had to stay at this hotel because he has to go to Nat Inst of Health each month and has always had a good experience at this hotel.

What's not to like?? Great hotel!

I am involved with National Institute of Health so I need a nice room to relax in after treatment. This is just the place.

This is a decent representative of an outdated hotel concept. It could be competitive with more included features (esp. internet access and continental breakfast).

The Hyatt Regency is a lovely, comfortable first class hotel in a wonderful location for our needs. Even parking is reasonably priced.

If Bethesda is your destination, the Hyatt is a well run comfortable place to stay. We enjoyed our stay there and would return happily.
