Clean, location, price.
Lobby very plain and gave you the feeling you were in a basement, needs touch up painting.
Overall the hotel was ok but not a 4 star. The pool area and patio needs to be updated.

Clean, friendly and very helpful staff.
Great place to stay, loved the location and the staff was friendly and very helpful. Will definitely be back really enjoyed the entire stay.

I arrived at 8pm and was told there was no room available they didn't let me into a room till 9:45pm.
This was the worst experience at a 4 star hotel I have ever had. The staff behind the counter was rude and condescending. I arrived at 8pm and there was no room available for me. They assured me there would be a room available at 4pm. They did not let me into a room until 9:45pm. This is totally unacceptable. I had to change my clothes and leave the hotel so they made me change in the fitness facility. Later, at 10pm I asked for a cot to be sent to my room (since they would not give me a room with two double beds) and at 2am when I returned there was no cot. This was absolutely horrible and I will never stay at that hotel ever again. read more

Willingness to accommodate requests.
I was there as part of a bachelor party, we had 4 rooms booked amongst the group. We knew we were going to be a little loud so we tried to book a meeting room or hospitality suite so we would not disrupt other guests. The hotel said they would not provide a meeting room for us, and continued to give us "warnings" or else we would be removed from the hotel. We said multiple times that we would move to another room in the hotel but they would not accommodate such request (this was not because they were full). Just an overall bad experience. read more

The location is hard to beat.
No free wireless.
The location of the hotel is terrific. It is in the Boston Common area, and about 10 minutes away from Newbury and Copley. It is also very close to Chinatown where you can get such amazing food.

There is nothing I didn't like.
This is a fantastic hotel and I would recommend it my friends and family.

Definitely a 4 star.
Desk personnel have no authority, always have to refer you to higher ups.
I admittedly don't travel much, so this was an elegant experience.
