Elevators were very nice.
It is far away from all public transportation. The cleaning staff does not do a great job.
When I came back to the room, I saw that someone drank my water. I did complaint about that to the hotel staff. They did not understand why I was angry.

The staff were incredible, helpful, and really nice.
Facility is quite old and dated.
We encountered friendly, accommodating staff throughout this hotel.

Charges for internet, parking that are free everywhere.
This hotel needs a makeover. The carpet in our room was badly stained and buckled. Bathroom door looked like it hadn't been painted or cleaned in 10 years. Air conditioner sounded like a freight train. They charge $35 a night to park and $15/ day for internet which is free at the lowest end of hotels. This Hyatt falls well below what one would expect from a supposed high end hotel. read more

Please hotel.
Listed as close to Harvard but is a 45 minute walk, and nearest subway stop is a 20 minute walk. Not safe for women at night.
Very nice hotel in and of itself, however the location is very problematic as it is not located near convenient public transit, and to park a rental car at the hotel costs an additional $35.00. Also, there is no breakfast included in the room rate, but no coffee shops of any kind near the hotel (closest is a 15 minute walk) so you have no choice but to use the hotel restaurant. Internet access costs an additional $12.95 per day. read more

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Doorman remembered my name!
Room definitely needed a face lift. A little shabby and worn.
We stayed here for Harvard parents' weekend. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, but could use refurbishing. The staff were all helpful, friendly and well trained - we felt well cared for. The gym and pool were fabulous - wish I could have spent more time there. Our Priceline deal was terrific and I'd definitely stay here again.

The affordable price, for us seniors on low income.
Parking: too expensive at the hotel, so we used Alewife garage and the T; taxi to hotel an extra.
Overall very satisfied mainly due to price. We would recommend using Priceline and this hotel's offer. Our main criticism is the price of parking. Our other criticisms are minor: no surface in inner bathroom to put anything down and no wastepaper basket;not enough washcloths; no DVD player; only one easy chair in TV area.

Right on Charles river, which was beautiful; big, and clean rooms.
Ugly bathroom in room.
Beautiful location as it is right across from Charles river and walking/running trail. Really nice rooms.

Large rooms, decent location, and was plenty of garage parking.
Inefficient check-in/check-out process, rooms in serious need of repair, and the hotel space was unimpressive.
I was very surprised that this was a Hyatt! I have stayed at many before and was seriously unimpressed. Staff was inefficient, had issues with check-in and had no idea how to handle the issues. The room was more motel like, in serious need of repair in so many areas. The shower appeared to be dirty, the door handle on the closet door was broken and there was no bottom sheet on the bed! Very unimpressed. read more
