I
really enjoyed the service of the Mexican people, they were awesome always super attentive.
We could hear the people coming out of the bars, partying it was a little loud.
Overall, it was a wonderful honeymoon and I am very glad Priceline selected the Hyatt hotel for me and my husband, the price of the package we got was excellent and the hotel was very modern and chick which we enjoyed greatly.

Excellent air conditioning
the location was in the heart of the party scene
The bed sheets were not clean, the housekeeping did not refill soaps and shampoo and did not clean the room well, the room did not have free wi-fi even though it was advertised, the hotel employees said the room service dinner menu was closed at different hours and it took 3 separate attempts to finally order from the dinner menu, the reservations staff was not friendly at all. The pool staff was friendly and extremely helpful. read more

Modern and clean hotel with a nice pool.
The hotel is fine. Generally it is clean, modern and located in the thick of things with nice staff. The hotel does not have direct beach access, but you can walk over to Dreams and go to their beach. More frustratingly, the Deli was closed and on check in you have to sign something saying you won't bring outside food into the hotel. This wouldn't even be a problem if there was somewhere in the hotel to buy bottled water and snacks but there isn't really. The food was very nice in the hotel, but I didn't really come to Mexico to have a really nice steak in a wine reduced sauce. Some more Mexican influences would have been good. The pool area is very pleasant and was a real plus for the stay. If you are a business traveler be warned that wireless access in your room is ridiculously overpriced and unreliable. All in all it is a perfectly acceptable hotel, but does not in anyway measure up to the Gran Melia where I stayed last time I visited. read more
