The rooms were very nice.
Noisy neighbors.
Hotel is convienant to downtown attractions. We had some extremely noisy neighbors (loud music, lots of people, etc.) until 2:30 am and the staff could not/would not get them to be quiet. We called the front desk 4 times with no success.

The hotel is in the elegant and vintage Cleveland Arcade, which includes upscale stores and restaurants and is only 2 blocks from the Q (Arena).
Some members of the staff (desk clerks) were less than efficient, forgot requests for wake-up calls and toiletries; I had long wait for safe key.
The Cleveland Arcade is a 1890s-era enclosed shopping area with a glass skylight roof and ornate ironwork balconies and railings. It has been beautifully renovated. The hotel is in the two towers at the ends of the arcade. The room had wonderful beds and was light and well decorated. I had the best breakfast at the 1890s restaurant in the arcade, and there is a Coffee Bar. The location couldn't be beat: across the street from the 4th-street restaurant row, and just 2 blocks from Quicken Loans Arena. read more

The hotel had very tall ceilings that made the room appear larger.
Our room was not ready when we arrived for check-in (which was 3 hours after check-in time).
Overall, my stay was fine. When we arrived at 6 I was told that my room would not be ready for another hour, even though I was told that check in time was any time after 3. We waited in the lobby while the room was cleaned. The appearance, and the staff was both very good.

The hotel is nice & clean, the safety is really nice for the safety of others in the hotel.
The Valet parking is the worse!! It took 1 hour to get my car from first call. The heat in the room did not work that well.
The down side is the Valet parking; called 45 minutes ahead of time to get my car; they stated no problem; well I had no car when I went down stairs. They stated they were after it another 15 minutes, went no car, went in the office again. She said oh here is your key, we will get it now! Drove 5 hours 1 way for an appointment at the hospital & planned 45 minutes to get there & only had 15 minutes so. I was late for my appointment. I was not happy at all with that because then I had to wait another 2-1/2 hours to get worked in. I liked the hotel but that does not set well at all. read more

Regular rooms are enormous and luxurious.
This hotel is made up of converted offices in a large (for the early 20th century) mall. So the rooms are typically enormous. I guess I could have challenged it, but we had a short stay and it was quiet.

The mattress was very comfortable.
No convenient parking and the parking was quite expensive.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice and beds very comfortable. Hotel supplied bottled water in room was over priced at $5.00 a bottle. Overnight parking was over priced at $21.00 a night.

Exceeded expectation in terms of quality/location.
Towels dirty (lipstick on towels) already used and re hung.
I was impressing with the instant check in and the promptness of the service we received once there was a problem. Also, I was pleased to see the bellmen in uniform and very professional and warm seasonal spirited directing traffic once we exit the hotel. Keep up the good service and I will surely visit Cleveland in the future.
