King room was large, and elevators fast.
Terrible first impression, too much construction, charged for parking twice, and parking too far away.
I was excited to have the Hyatt Regency Columbus accept my Priceline bid. It is a nice enough place to stay if you are using taxis. My experience stunk. My room on the 19th floor had a great view of the train tracks and highway east side. Construction went on throughout the night such as sawing metal girders. Parking was said to cost $12 for 24 hours, but I was charged twice because if you leave before 8 am there is no attendant to validate parking. As a business traveler, it is rare that I would check out of my hotel after 8 am. That would mean my flight home or to my next destination was departing after 10:30 am. Parking was easily 5 miles. No parking to speak of at the front door of the hotel. read more

I don't understand why hotels still charge for Internet in the rooms.
Nice hotel, great rooms. Odd location, but good for any business on the north side of Columbus. I was using this location to commute to Eston Town Center on the east side of Columbus. About a 20 minute car ride. I don't understand why 3 star+ properties still charge for Internet in the rooms. Free Internet in the lobby, but charge in the rooms.

I loved the location.
Internet was charged $10/day and parking $13-$23/day, which was not worth.

The mattress was very comfy.
The convention parking was closed after 7pm. Had to walk a long way for parking.
Very large. Hotel is adjacent to the Columbus Convention Center (a person could get lost if you didn't know your way around). It is very close to Nationwide Arena.

Pleasant rooms, good views from many windows.
Heating system is noisey and hard to keep at a constant level.

The location is prime, the staff is very polite and couteous.
I feel WiFi should be included in your stay, not cost.

Location and valet service.
Cheap looking, antiseptic smelling, loud, automated check in kiosks.
Hotel is not upscale. Its more like a run at the mill Holiday Inn. They had some convention business which made it loud and annoying. They had airport like check-in kiosks which made the experience very impersonal.
