The beds were very comfortable and the elevators moved very quickly.
The business center was very costly - $20/hour internet usage and extra cost per page to print documents. The parking garage was not my favorite.
Overall, the Hyatt Regency is a beautiful hotel in downtown Jacksonville. The rooms are spacious and clean. The elevators move quickly and are numerous - which equals short wait times.

The view of river.
Hairs on sheets.
Generally clean with exception of short black hairs (few) on sheets. That makes me think beds not changed. Sound travels threw walls late at night, and parking is gambling if you choose on street (homeless always bother as you walk). Beautiful lobby, elevators and nice employees are very helpful. I would stay again. Thank you.

The staff was very friendly.
Uncleanliness.
Overall the hotel was a nice place. I did see some dirty spots on the carpet and the bedspread. The remote to the TV appeared dirty. Everything else seemed to be clean.

Staff went above and beyond upgrading room and giving directions to odd locations!
We LOVED everything about this hotel!
I have used Priceline in the past and have been pleased. This was a long tour with my daughter of Southern colleges and Jacksonville was an unknown entity to me. I wanted to be by Jackson Landing - this hotel is right on the Landing - and wanted a few amenities after a long trip. What we got was a room upgrade, super friendly staff with lots of suggestions, a tour guide affiliated with the hotel who completely mapped a trip to Amelia Island via the scenic route, directions printed to a local synagogue and a staff that went above and beyond. The room with a view of the lit trestle bridge was exquisite, the beds were over sized and super comfy, the bathroom was great and even the toiletries were upscale - and replenished at our request. The 24-hour fitness room was complete, the rooftop pool was a nice size and the sauna was perfect. All this for a vastly discounted price. We couldn't have been happier and I've told several people about this property and will send a separate note to their management. read more
