The staff was friendly and personable.
This hotel was great. We had an issue with the bathroom and they addressed the issue immediately. Guest services provided written directions to the closest mall and the room was quaint.

The bed was very comfortable and had nice linens and the room was clean.
I had to go to six different floors to find a working ice machine.
This hotel did not meet my expectations of a Hyatt Regency. The hotel either needs to be upgraded or closed (I have a feeling Hyatt will do the latter). The building was kind of grungy and the public area furniture looked worn and stained (the chairs in the restaurant were filthy and rickety). The hot tub I was looking forward to using after a long drive was kept at only 88 degrees, so I ended up taking a bath in the shallow tub in my room. There was no answer at room service. The restaurant staff was friendly, but a habit of yelling across the room to each other when they needed something. The food was passable. I had to go to 6 different floors to get ice (the ice-maker on the smoker's floor worked. My room was fine, though it had a 10 year old TV and the in-room check out didn't work on it. For the price I paid, I was fine, but it may as well have been a low end motel. read more

Beautiful property.
I wish we had an exhaust fan in our bathroom.
I loved this hotel. They included a small tube of toothpaste along with soap and shampoo. Excellent touch for those of use who tend to forget 'stuff' when we travel. I highly recommend the hotel.

Courteous and efficient staff.
Most ice machines broken. Initially assigned room that had not been made up despite late arrival.
Excellent property with helpful staff. Needs maintenance and additional supervision of staff to ensure that rooms are indeed ready for arriving guests. We arrived at 2 AM and the room assigned to us had not been cleaned. An alternate assignment was satisfactory. I visited 5 floors in search of a functional ice machine before finding one on the 3rd floor. My room was on the 8th floor. read more

The gym facility was nice, with new machines.
I hate kids at the pool - can't there be adult hours?
The rooms are great, bedding is super comfy, and the gym and pool area are really nice (the gym especially with brand new machines and water, towels, headphones, all provided), but kids are allowed in the pool area anytime with adult supervision, which is far from ideal.
