The cleanliness.
The prices for everything were extremely unreasonable. And there was a service charge for anything and everything.
The hotel was too expensive, on all fronts. Parking was non existent and 23.00 for parking is absurd.

$25 parking.
Staying downtown after a wedding. We really didn't spend any significant time in the hotel to give it an adequate review.

If you love baseball this place is for you.
No safe parking. Had to valet park with the hotel which was more than $20.

One of the nicest we've stayed in, very luxurious!
We were very pleased with the hotel. The entire hotel (lobby, common areas, rooms, etc) all had a nice feel to them. Very luxurious and fitting with the same old-time ball park theme that Minute Maid has.

Aesthetically pleasing.
Hoity attitude of staff, mentioned fine for smoking in rooms three times.
Horrible location and an
arrogant staff. No wonder it was practically empty.

Clean and new. The price.
Decor was unromantic and parking was not convenient.
This hotel is an 8 year old boy's dream come true. The art and baseball theme made it tacky and really unromantic. This hotel belongs as Disney. It is not pet friendly.

Very close to the convention center.
Most staff was not friendly and one was rude.
Nice hotel in a convenient location near the George R. Brown Convention center. Shuttle was provided to the center, but hotel seemed to have trouble having the shuttle available. The security person appeared to have been called to drive the shuttle, and he seemed quite upset about that - he was rude, not helpful and a terrible driver - even for the short couple of blocks he drove. Not a good experience. read more

The fact that you had to pay extra $30 for double beds.
