Very friendly and clean. Great restaurant, excellent breakfast included. Excellent location walking distance to famous Plaza.
The hotel staff is exceedingly polite. The free breakfast was a full, hot buffet of local cuisine. The restaurant is excellent and a favorite of local residents. The pool was warm and clean. The room was very nicely decorated and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable with extra pillows and blankets already there. I am staying here the next time we come.

rooms were extremely clean and well maintained
parking difficult
My overall experience with the hotel was fabulous. Great breakfast. I didn't use the pool, but enjoyed coffee at pool side in the mornings. The only disappointment was that my car was side swiped in the designated parking spot. I alerted the staff and they said they are not responsible for any damage to the car in the lot. This incident occurred between 7:30 am and 9:30 am on Tuesday August 18th. I did make a incident report with the evening security guard (the security guard was very helpful). read more

Included a wonderful Mountain Sunrise hot breakfast and also an afternoon cookies, tea & sherry social. Treat guests very well. Free parking!
Can't think of a thing.
Lovely inn that has impeccable service and built in value similar to staying at a B&B but in a hotel setting. Wonderful full hot breakfast included every morning as well as an afternoon tea & sherry social with cookies included. Beautiful flowers in planters everywhere and located right downtown. Although the parking was free unheard of in downtown areas we walked everywhere as the location is nearby everything. Would stay here again whenever we are in Santa Fe. read more

Outstanding staff and a fabulous hot breakfast buffet with a perfect location and beautiful rooms.
The pool was not that clean and I did not see a hot tub which would be nice.
The rooms are very nice - our room with two queens felt slightly crowded but certainly adequate. The wonderful complimentary breakfast buffet was the best surprise and the staff was so friendly and helpful - really a pleasure. We would most definitely recommend the hotel and will stay there again!

The complimentary breakfast was the best ever!
The restaurant was busy and didn't make an effort to try and accommodate our family for dinner.
Very nice hotel, the upgrade to a room with a fire place was cool. Helpful staff, great recommendations for dining. Nice touch with afternoon tea and sherry, complimentary breakfast was the best ever.

It was wonderful in almost every way, except no microwave in the room.
The double doors on the bathroom did not lock and kept popping open when the exhaust fan was turned on. Room smaller than most & parking difficult.
If you drive a small car, the Inn of the Governors has to be one of the best choices in Santa Fe. We were surprised at the high quality of the food and reasonable prices at the restaurant. We dined in a covered patio and enjoyed the crackling fires in the chiminea style fireplaces. However, given that the hotel serves a complimentary breakfast every morning that includes, strawberries, an array of baked rolls, two types of scrambled eggs, hot meat, various fresh fruit (incl. strawberries) and waffles, and also had an afternoon tea and sherry, with cookies; one hardly had to eat any other meals.
Our room at the IOTG was somewhat small for a two double bed room, but it was decorated in a wonderfully Santa fe theme with period furniture, pottery, textiles, and a period wooden double door to the bath. The hotel is ideally situated just steps away from the main plaza, shops, restaurants, museums, and tourists sites. The conscierge had information about all of sites at his desk in the lobby. The parking at the hotel is difficult if you have an SUV or full sedan.
Even though it snowed one morning, the hotel pool was steaming and inviting.
If you stay at the IOTG you will definitely increase your enjoyment of a stay in Santa Fe. read more

Charming hotel with nicely decorated rooms, extra-comfy beds and a lot of atmosphere.
No indoor pool and no breakfast included.
This hotel was the highlight of our vacation to New Mexico. It had all the charm of a bed and breakfast but without the suffocating feeling that you are invading someone's home. The decorating extras that made the rooms so quaint, the comfy beds, the inviting lobby, the cookies and sherry at 4 p.m. The outstanding breakfast, the free Internet in the lobby and the convenience to shopping in the Santa Fe plaza made this an ideal choice. We loved it! read more
