130 year old homes that are beautifully restored and historically decorated.
Lack of elevators to get to the 3rd floor.
The Inn on Ferry Street is a wonderful experience. Located conveniently to many cultural attractions. The free shuttle will take you most anywhere you want to go. The staff was extremely helpful. We'll go back. Breakfast was delicious and room service supplied by a local restaurant was as fast or faster than most large hotels with their own kitchens. I
will come back.

Beautifully restored old mansions.
A little too far from Downtown, but we made it around easy
Really liked the old charm, will stay again, would recommend to anyone

The bed & breakfast atmosphere with the hotel quality.
Thin doors to the hallways.
The hotel is quaint and the staff extremely friendly. The rooms are nicely appointed and very clean. The neighborhood right outside the hotel is okay but a few blocks away looked a little sketchy. Overall the hotel was wonderful and I highly recommend it.

Very friendly staff.
Didn't really like the area it was in.
The staff was very friendly. We liked the free shuttle service they had. We had no problems. We were very comfortable. There wasn't a lot of noise and we weren't bothered.

Beautifully restored B&B with surprisingly convenient services.
The buildings are historic mansions which have been beautifully restored and converted to B&Bs. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The breakfast had a wide selection of items to appeal to all appetities. A pleasant surprise was the free shuttle to locations within a 5 mile radius!

Historical Buildings, Nice location, NOT a noisy Party Hotel!
B&B rooms did not have individual heat controls.
I have managed 3 to 5 star resorts and hotels for 20 years, The Inn on Ferry Street is a GREAT Property that is run well by staff and managers who show that they care for their Inn and their Guests! Very Good value: No charge for secure and well lit parking, Very Nice hot breakfast included, and complimentary van transportation in and around Downtown area. Very convenient, quiet, and safe. Room was very well equipped and appointed with high quality linens. A selection of Jazz, Blues, and Classical CD's was provided for the Sony CD alarm clock. Highly recommend The Inn on Ferry Street, and will plan on staying here on future visits to Detroit. read more

The staff was very patient with our numerous complaints and tried to help us.
The pillow shams stunk terribly. Room was not at all what we expected.
The staff was great, except housekeeping. I think they got an attitude when I complained about the pillows stinking so bad. It seems they retaliated by cranking the heat to 90 degrees, not giving us fresh glasses (just turned the old ones over) and not returning the pillows. We went out and bought new toothbrushes because we were afraid of what they may have done with ours. The room was not at all what we expected. It had no atmosphere or character like the ones in the brochure. read more

The hotel was beautiful, clean and the staff was great. I loved the convenience of the shuttle.
I did not like the neighborhood.
The hotel was a good value for the money. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I loved the decor and atmosphere of the rooms and the lobbies. I will stay there again. The hotel could be a romantic getaway as well.

Style, service, and friendliness.
The area around it is a little shady although we felt very safe.
A beautifully restored home - and a cut above a good bed & breakfast. The staff was courteous and super-friendly and their shuttle service went beyond the call of duty on New Year's Eve. A delightful place and experience.
