Great location, modern, clean & spacious!
Upselling desk clerk gave us a poor first room.
Experience was 98% fantastic! Upon check in we were met with a not unexpected up-sell pitch. After 5 minutes of up-selling the room and the hotels preferred guest plan we asked for a simple Queen/King room. We were told the only room available was two double beds with a city view. We checked out the room and the city view was a brick wall about 50 feet away. Happy Ending: After a call we were told to contact the desk again and ask for a King room. A property that truly looks and feels like a 4-star hotel.
Bar staff not very attentive.
This fairly new four star property is closer to all the attractions than you might think. Within walking distance to Fanuiel hall, little Italy and downtown crossing. Nice to stay here in the summer and enjoy the ocean breeze and walk to dinner in the north end.

Excellent service, clean and modern decor.
Nothing to complain about.
This is a new, modern hotel on the finally-finished big dig site. The hotel is a block from South Station subway and train station. The room was very comfortable and spacious, with excellent quality bed linens and a nice chaise for lounging. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Floor to ceiling windows highlighted the city skyline.
