Nice, spacious room, comfortable bed.
Lounge much too loud to enjoy.
My wife and I booked this hotel for our 25th wedding anniversary. The hotel staff was very friendly and upgraded our room to one with a water view at no extra charge - something we very quite please with. The room was spacious and attractive, and the bed and pillows extremely comfortable. About the only thing we didn't care for was the noisy lounge, so loud that the noise spilled into the lobby area. Some people will like the loud music, but we ended up enjoying some drinks at a local pub, which was quiet and relaxing. But aside from the noisy lounge, this is a very nice hotel in a good location, and we would recommend it to our friends. read more

Pompous staff. Not at all five star.
This hotel was not. I called the day I booked the reservation and requested a queen or king bed. The person told me that would not be problem. When I got there the pompous front desk attendant mentioned that my request was documented. But he went onto say that for $50 more a night, we could get a king bed.

The decor in the room was beautiful.
Location's a bit inconvenient when the weather's bad.
This is a modern, upscale hotel. Check-in was fast and courteous, lovely decor in the public areas and the room was beautiful. The washroom was gorgeous -

Small complaint about the food and getting a taxi.
Large comfortable room and great bathroom! Oysters at the bar tasted great -- but full of shell fragments.
