Is a nice hotel, big rooms, lovely swimming and sun bathing area.
Being charged for the use of the pool and parking.

The ocean view patio.
The early closing of the ocean view patio.
It is a fine place to stay if you want in the downtown area and if you are going to the Mayo Clinic. You can walk to the clinic without going outdoors and do not need your coat in bad weather. Very friendly staff. Breakfast could have been better, with more selection.

It was brand new and well appointed, excellently located with a great restaurant and fitness facilities.
The hotel was less than a year old and everything about it was lovely. Great views, great staff, nice beds, it was perfect.

They have a monopoly on parking,
very few options other than valet.

This is really an elegant hotel, very centrally located.
Staff was helpful; valet parking only $20, which I didn't think was bad for the heart of Monterey's Cannery Row.
