Very impressive! I loved the room and lobby. Truly will make your Montreal Experience better!
I loved this hotel!

The intercontinental is the by far worth a 5 star rating. Its staff were helpful and every aspect of the hotel was unique offering a perfect place to experience the Monreal culture. Its Beautiful, actually its the coolest hotel I've seen and is now the only place I will stay when I visit Montreal.

Conveniently located downtown, elegant, friendly, comfortable, welcoming.
There was an extra charge for WIFI. For a 5 star hotel, this should be included. I have stayed in budget hotels with free WIFI.

I really liked this hotel. The staff was very friendly and informative. When I arrived after a very long drive from Toronto, I felt welcomed by the front desk staff. The check in process was very smooth. I loved it when they asked me what newspaper I preferred in the morning. The public areas were clean and I felt safe in the parking lot. The decor is very elegant. The rooms were very nicely decorated with a 40 inch flat screen TV and an IPOD Dock. I thought that was a very nice touch. The only thing that I was disappointed with was when I looked up, I noticed some cobwebs dangling from the ceiling. I didn't think that was acceptable. I was also disappointed that for a hotel at this price scale that the WIFI was extra. read more

Close to old Montreal, comfortable.
We accepted the offer to extend our stay and our key got reset after our initial stay.

Good location, friendly staff, excellent restaurant. The Tapas bar is quite affordable.

Location, room and staff.

The hotel is just finishing up a renovation so some of the public rooms are still under construction. That said, the room was beautiful and the staff very friendly and helpful.

The room was clean and extremely comfortable.
Tons of construction in and around the lobby and no free wireless.

The location of this hotel is perfect. Close to shopping, close to Old Montreal, everything pretty much in walking distance. The room was very comfortable and clean but there was so much construction in the lobby I ended up waiting for a very long time to check out because there was no order in how people queued for check-in and check-out. There wasn't free wi-fi (shocking for this star level and in 2009) but otherwise I enjoyed my stay. read more

Convenient location; friendly staff; great room.

We arrived late and left early the next day. Staff were extremely helpful. Room is spacious and beds are comfortable. The staff made our trip a lot easier.
