Great location.
Outside of building is horribly dated!
I had an overall very positive experience at the Intercontinental. The location cannot be beat. The room was spacious with plenty of amenities. The decor, both inside an out, could use some updating. The pool was small, but very enjoyable. Clean, comfortable rooms. I'd recommend this hotel.

Brilliant location, health club, pool area.
Sauna area very small, women/men separate.
Very friendly staff, room meets 4star-level; but definitely not 5star.

Excellent service.
Old small rooms.
The service in this hotel was up to 5 star standards, however the hotel rooms are in bad need of a renovation and not up to 5 star standards.

Very nice and clean great location.
Did not like smoking in lobby, etc. May be a Prague thing.
We had a wonderful time hotel is in an excellent location and staff was very nice and knowledgeable. The problem could be on their end. They were nice about it. Hope that they did not charge my credit card.

The staff was attentive and extremely helpful -- the rooms were excellent for Europe.
Cost of the room service.
I was pleasantly surprised by the intercontinental praha. Often times European hotels claim to be four or five star and they often fall short of American expectations. However, this hotel met and exceeded mine! The price was excellent. The location of the hotel could not be better; set along the river and just a few minutes walk from the heart of old town. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Prague. read more

Easy walking distance to major attractions, yet in a quiet location next to the Danube.
The food and amenities were extremely expensive.
This hotel was everything we expected: a first rate business class hotel, with all the amenities: luxurious linens (complete with a pillow menu!), perfect location near the metro and within walking distance to the major attractions and squares. The staff was courteous and very helpful. The only negative was (regarding of the declining us dollar) extras, such as telephone calls, use of the internet and movies, snacks, etc., were horrifically expensive. read more

Clean comfortable room and bed.
Exterior of hotel is terrible and not consistent with historic Prague.
You get a nervous feeling first approaching this hotel as the outside feels very 70's and old but the inside more than makes up for it and stands up to its 5-star rating.

The location was perfect, right near the Jewish quarter. The beds were amazingly comfortable, with a down featherbed and down quilt and pillows.
The room and the bathroom were small.
The hotel is very well located. The amenities are first class; with robes and down bedding. The beds were the most comfortable we ever slept in, with a down featherbed on top, and down blankets and pillows. We would definitely stay here again!

Location, room-service, cleanliness, friendly staff.
In-room internet very expensive, weak air conditioning.
The hotel is in a great location very close to Old Town Square and all other downtown points of interest. The rooms and bathrooms are a bit small, but very clean. The staff is friendly and helped us with all the questions we had. They had maintenance works on the elevators with the result that most of the time only one elevator was working, so that we usually had to wait a while for an elevator, but that wasn't a big deal. After all a very pleasant stay in one of the most beautiful cities I know. read more

They offer a "Pillow Menu" for you to choose a pillow of your preference. Down comforters were great too.
Internet usage fees in the business center was quite expensive, almost $10 for 15 minutes.
This hotel is in an excellent location, within a 5 minute walk to the city center. We also had a great view of the river. Hotel was extremely clean and luxurious. They offered an additional "Pillow Menu" with about 10 types of pillows in addition to the down pillows in the room. The room actually had an ironing board and iron in the room, not always common in European hotels. I would recommend staying here to anyone traveling to Prague. read more
