The InterContinental San Juan was originally built in the late 1950®s and was designed by Morris Lapidus, known as the grandfather of postmodernism architecture. The resort is located on Isla Verde, San Juan's best beach and is a great setting for both business and pleasure. Old San Juan and the main financial and business districts are 15 minutes away. Problems with the room were substaintial that we should have been moved, but we didn't ask and they didn't offer.

The pool and grounds were very nice.
Overpriced drinks.

Well worth the stay - very nice facility throughout. Ilsa Verde area is very close to the airport, but a far stretch from Old San Juan. Good trade-off.

Hotel was beautiful and friendly.
Nothing.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The location was great. Beach and pool were very accessible. Staff was friendly and helpful. Casino was small but fun. Would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Hotel was clean and attraction.
Bid and acceptance price did not include add on cost.

This hotel was at one time a vary nice hotel. The location has now declined to a point of not going off site. Food and drink prices are exorbitantly high. At best a three star hotel.

I really liked the pool area and the beach access.
The balcony is too narrow to put chairs on.

I enjoyed my stay there. I really thought it was a nice place & that I did a really good job finding it on Priceline. That was the resort I was hoping for when I put in my bid!
