Very comfortable lounge chairs and huge nice towels in the pool and beach area.
Rooms were quite plain, bathrooms very small and outdated.

Pool area, the staff and the restaurants.
Cost of restaurants can be lower.
The hotel is located at Isla Verde, Carolina, Puerto Rico. To arrive you take Ave. Isla Verde and you will see a big building with the name Intercontinental. To enter the hotel, it is a little confusing, as besides there are other entrances to other hotels. Once in the driveway, the fountains and the landscape are excellent. Once you get out of your car, the hospitality starts. The employees are very courteous. Inside the hotel there is a 24 hour security guard guarding the lobby. Check in was fast and smooth. The employee was also very courteous. We enjoyed the pool area and the beaches nearby. During our stay, we had dinner at 2 of the restaurants of the hotel - Alfredo and Momoyama. Alfredo is an Italian restaurant with excellent food. The overall experience was excellent, with exception that the food was a little salty. Momoyama is a Japanese restaurant. The food was good, but the soy sauce attacked me afterwards, as I was thirsty all night. The casino was nice and on Friday it was packed, while on Saturday there were available lots. They have a lounge at the lobby and had live music. The ambiance was nice, but the quality of the music was terrible. It was a nightmare. The check out was also smooth. I highly recommend the Intercontinental. read more

Staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. Hotel is beautiful and clean.
Nothing.
As you arrive, it seems as a hidden oasis. Once you walk in, staff is very friendly, helpful and courteous. The hotel is very clean and beautiful. I enjoyed it thoroughly and felt very safe at all times. Security in the pool area is very nice implemented as they change colored arm bands and verify your name in a list to make sure you are a guest. Beach access is on site and a security guard at the gate at all times. One of my favorite was the pool area in which I spent most of my stay. The bar in the pool and their food service was impeccable and their brunch had a variety of food to choose from. I would recommend this resort to anyone. read more

Premium hotel with nice beach and free beach chairs.
One lady at the front desk - everyone else was great.
This was a really nice hotel in a good location and would be a great location for a family vacation or a business meeting.
